Cbus Property Steps Up To Push For Collins Street Towers

Cbus Property has submitted revised plans for dual 47-level towers worth $1.25 billion in Melbourne’s Collins Street.

The developer is seeking planning approval for the landmark project on a 5,926.6sqm  site at 447 Collins Street.

The building’s overall height has been reduced from 295m in the original submission to 165m.

The proposed development would include dual towers connected via a skybridge, 259 hotel suites and 315 apartments. There would also be 68,364sqm of office space, 500sqm of retail space, and basement parking for 487 vehicles and 501 bicycles.  On the ground level would be 2,00sqm of public space featuring a tree grove, promenade and an amphitheatre.

Woods Bagot and New York based SHoP Architects have designed the dual towers. SHoP Architects recently designed Brookyn’s first super tall skyscraper in the US announced this week.
