Herald Living

At the new gateway to the Melbourne CBD, the 35 storey, 44,500 sqm, Ernst & Young Building rises from the historic Herald and Weekly Times building. In developing this new city landmark, Cbus Property faced the challenge of incorporating the existing building with its cultural and heritage importance into the new vision for the site.

With sensitive construction, the new commercial building appears from behind the original heritage building, which has been converted into Herald Living – a collection of luxury apartments.

“The historic Herald Sun building represented an opportunity to create a landmark residential development in Melbourne’s art gallery precinct. Cbus Property embraced our vision to deliver premium quality apartments for today’s modern lifestyle. Their commitment demonstrated throughout the project has been rewarded by commercial success.”  Rob Backhouse, Principal – Hassell

The building was completed in 2006.
