The ‘WELL’ Building Standard is a global measurement tool focusing on the wellbeing of people in buildings, by rewarding strategies that impact human health or behaviours to encourage healthier outcomes. The tool has been developed by the International WELL Building Institute, pioneered by Delos.
As part of our ongoing commitment to occupant health and wellbeing, Cbus Property have registered our new development at 447 Collins Street, Melbourne for a ‘WELL, Core and Shell’ Compliance rating. Cbus Property are also in the process of registering 720 Bourke Street, Melbourne for ‘WELL Core and Shell’ Certification as one of the first existing buildings to go through the WELL Tool certification process in Australia.
Cbus Property participated in the GRESB Real Estate Benchmark for the second time in 2016 (GRESB is an industry-driven organization committed to assessing the sustainability performance of real assets around the globe, including real estate portfolios (public, private and direct). The 2016 benchmark report captured environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance data from 759 entities across 63 counties with a total gross asset value of US$2.8 trillion. Cbus Property's overall score in the 2016 benchmark was 72/100 which places it in the top one third of all global respondents.
