Georgina brings over 25 years’ experience in the financial services and property industry to her role as Chairman, a role she has held since 2019. Georgina has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws.
Georgina has significant global experience in corporate transactions, capital raising, initial public offerings, funds management, corporate strategy, acquisitions and divestments. She gained early experience as a solicitor with Freehills and with Mallesons Stephen Jacques. Georgina also held senior roles at AMP Capital Investors, Galileo Funds Management and Stockland.
She is an independent non-executive director and member of the audit and risk committee of Viva Energy REIT. She is also an independent non-executive director of Tassal Group Limited and a member of their audit and risk and remuneration committees. In addition, she holds the position of independent non-executive director of Investec Property Limited.
Scott has been actively involved with the Master Builders movement for the past 22 years and is an immediate past president and chairman of Master Builders Australia and past president and chairman of the Master Builders Association of NSW.
Scott commenced his career in the commercial sector of the building and construction industry in a trade role, progressively building his career through to management roles and establishing the Proline Group of companies.
Steve Bracks AC
Steve Bracks was Premier of Victoria for almost eight years, winning successive elections with large majorities. As Premier, Steve started rebuilding Victoria’s services and infrastructure whilst maintaining strong budgets and a growing economy.
He now advises the Timor-Leste Prime Minister and several leading Australian finance and service sector corporations.
Mr Bracks is Chair of Cbus and a Director the Bank of Sydney, Jardine Lloyd Thompson Australia and the Bionics Institute. He also chairs AFL SportsReady and the Kardinia Park Steering Committee.
He also led the Federal Government’s review into Australia’s Automotive Industry and was the Australian Government’s Automotive Envoy from 2009 to 2013.
Susan has over 30 years’ experience in real estate investment management primarily in the retail sector, including asset and funds management (listed and wholesale markets), property and portfolio acquisitions and development. She has worked in Australia, the US and UK/Europe. Susan has held senior and executive positions with Lend Lease, AMP Capital and Galileo Funds Management.
She is currently Mirvac’s Head of Retail. Susan is the Joint Deputy Chair, Shopping Centre Council of Australia and immediate past Australian Chair of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts (UNSW) and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
Anthony has a significant level of skill, education and experience across property, finance, taxation, business management and accounting. Commencing his career at Deloitte, key positions have included partnership at Cuthel & Bigg Accountants and appointment as CEO and director at property investment and development company PrimeSpace Property Investment. Anthony has recently made a career change and is currently the owner/operator of an award winning Hotel in Queanbeyan NSW.
Anthony’s current role, recent and past directorships held are CEO and Executive Director, PrimeSpace Property Investment. Director, and Director of numerous personal and commercial property-related companies.
Anthony’s qualifications comprise of Bachelor of Arts (Accounting), Chartered Accountant, Diploma, Financial Services and Registered Tax Accountant and Company Auditor.
David holds extensive senior union leadership experience, developed through positions including National Secretary, Assistant National Secretary and organiser of the CFMEU (Construction and General Division). Prior to 1988, David worked as a builder’s labourer. He has managed major union sites at several iconic Melbourne landmarks.
David’s current role, recent and past directorships held are, National Secretary, CFMEU Construction and General Division, and attends Cbus Board, Investments Committee and Remuneration Committee. Note: David resigned from the Remuneration Committee on 21 August 2013.
David’s qualifications comprise of RG146 for Superannuation, Various specialist property and investment courses, Sponsoring organisation, Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union.
Simon has over 30 years of analysis, advisory and operational experience in finance and real estate. This includes 19 years as an equities analyst researching listed real estate and retail companies at Macquarie Bank and JP Morgan, and a further six years as a corporate advisor to major real estate groups, at UBS and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Simon has operational experience at Stockland Trust Group where he was responsible for Strategy, Research and Stakeholder Relations, and a member of the Executive Committee. He holds a Master of Commerce qualification in accounting and finance.
Adrian Pozzo is the Chief Executive Officer of Cbus Property Pty Ltd, having been appointed to this role in 2007. Adrian has over 30 years’ experience as an executive in the property and construction industries, working in both private and public companies, including 15 years in direct property.
Adrian has responsibility for the strategic performance & management of all aspects of the Cbus direct property investment business which includes major investments and developments in the commercial and residential sectors.
Adrian is a Certified Practicing Accountant and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Chief Operating Officer
Reporting to the CEO, Chris has a national role encompassing key involvement in the identification and procurement of new residential and commercial development acquisitions including securing tenant pre-commitments and is focused on delivering safer delivery outcomes. He is also a member of the Cbus Property Safety Committee.
While Chris assists and challenges the development team to deliver enhanced financial and end user outcomes relative to the project objectives, he also oversees developments in design and delivery, attending project PCG meetings and regularly reports to the Cbus Property Board.
Chief Financial Officer
Ashley joined Cbus Property in 2013 and is responsible for the Investment and Asset Management, Commercial Operations and Corporate functions.
Ashley has extensive experience in property and structured real estate finance, both domestically and internationally, and has held various senior roles in the advisory, AREIT and private sectors.
Ashley is a qualified valuer and holds both undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in property.
